This “official” note is four months belated, but we wanted to let you know how much we genuinely appreciated your professionalism, flexibility, and, of course, the absolutely amazing memories you created for us of our wedding day!

I know we have told you many times how much we love the photos, particularly as we have discussed which ones to include in the album- but we wanted to thank you for more than just the beautiful photos.

We appreciated that you took the time to consider our event- our families, friends, the location, and what we hoped to capture in pictures and in the album. And we were so impressed by the fact that, except for the posed formals, we never knew you were there- yet from the pictures, it seems like you were every where (especially impressive given the fact that it was a 90º day)!

The formal pictures are absolutely beautiful, your choice of settings and set ups were ideal, taking full advantage of our family farm location- and seemed so effortless. One of our families’ favorites is the photo of Neil and me sitting in the Adirondack chair with the American flag on the barn behind us (several have said it is our family’s version of “American Gothic”!).

And the candid pictures are brilliant, perfectly capturing the essence of the day – the joy, smiles, laughs and silly moments. As you know, Neil’s family lives in the UK and not all were able to make the trip to Maine. Instead, we traveled to them in September, and brought along a slideshow of your photos. One of Neil’s cousins, who works in print advertising, noted that he has seen the results of dozens of wedding shoots, yet was blown away by your photos which not only beautifully recorded the event, but portrayed the spirit of the day and the joy Neil and I were feeling. He commented that viewing the photos gave him a sense of the day, made him wish he’d been there, and in a way, made him feel as though he had.

It was a perfect day in our hearts and memories, and thanks to your photos, it was perfectly captured for us to enjoy for the rest of our lives.

There are no words which can explain how much we appreciate your efforts and how much we have and will continue to enjoy the photos. Thank you.

Best wishes,

Bec and Neil
